Welcome to Captain Airways. We are a virtual airline and our main website can be found here.
Captain Airways flying club provide the training for the main Airline as well as a fantastic General Aviation flying experience. Why not try us out.
Our current aircraft in our general aviation fleet:
Cessna 172 Skyhawk (currently owned by captainorigami01, will be transferred when the Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 is purchased on the 14th)
Upcoming aircraft:
Cirrus Vision SF50 Jet (purchasing 14th March 2023 for captainorigami01, will be provided to the club as soon as a second one is available for captainorigami01).
Training
As a virtual club we provide training (not for real world use and is not provided by real world pilots) procedures are what the team have learnt over years of flight sim experience. All of our trainers aspire to be real world pilots and are motivated to learn the best practices in the field.
Despite this we do provide training for the people who want to be taught a certain type of aircraft, phraseology for ATC and much more.
We currently have the Cirrus Vision SF50, Cessna 172 Skyhawk, and Cessna 152 which we know how to fly well and teach people how to fly.
When it comes to commercial airlines we look for realism where possible form all our pilots and slight mess ups get reported by our app when in flight. When the flight is submitted for a moderator to approve these mistakes are flagged to the team and an overall score is provided. it is important for you to know this since we would like you to learn a GA aircraft fully and the different procedures for the aircraft as well as traffic patterns, squawk codes, ATC lingo, etc. This will help when it comes to learning a commercial airline as you will already unserstand the basic fundermentals of flying and have the flying skill.
